A warm welcome to Kilconnel Kennels
Kilconnel Kennels, Oxford has been running for over 25 years. We are fully licensed to breed and board dogs, with someone in attendance 24 hours a day.
Kilconnel Kennels is located in the beautiful secluded country side location of Henton, Oxfordshire and is set in five acres.
We breed pure West Highland White Terriers and Maltese. All of our pure bred litters are Kennel Club registered and leave us with all the correct paperwork.
We also breed some very beautiful cross breeds focussing on hypoallergenic breeds and health.
To enquire about the use of our boarding service please email us at kilconnelkennels@hotmail.co.uk with the following information:
- Dog’s name and breed
- A photograph of their vaccination card (Please note they must be up to date with all vaccinations including kennel cough)
- The dates you need and the drop off and collection times (Between 9am and 1pm)

Here at Kilconnel we believe in giving all our dogs and puppies the best possible care. We ensure that all puppies are microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on all flea and worming treatments before leaving us. All puppies leave us with 4 weeks insurance and are health checked by our trusted vet before leaving.
Southern Shih-tzu Rescue
If you have been in touch with us and we haven’t had what you are looking for to re-home, please contact Kerry at Southern Shih-Tzu Rescue.
They take in Shih-Tzu dogs that need a new home. First though they ensure they have all medical needs attended too, then they have volunteer foster homes where the dogs live for a time whilst the foster carers get them back to full health and figure out the dogs needs, likes, dislikes etc so they can go to the best suited home. They are a registered charity but do not receive government funding so please donate if you can at www.southernshihtzurescue.org.uk/donating/. At Kilconnel Kennels for every pound you donate when you visit us here Lesley matches it and we send it to Kerry and the team.
